The cantilever sliding gate does not require laying a ground track. The gate body runs suspended and is not affected by water accumulation, sand, ice, snow or uneven ground. It runs more smoothly and requires less maintenance. For projects with frequent use, large gate spans or complex installation environments, such as airports, logistics parks, schools, public facilities and industrial parks, the suspension type solution is usually more recommended for you.
The track sliding gate runs along the ground track through bottom rollers with lower manufacturing cost. So it is a more economic choice for projects with good ground conditions. If you select a track sliding door, it is necessary to allow for approximately 0.5m of additional space beyond the door opening width to ensure smooth opening and closing.
For example, if the door opening is 4 metres wide, it is generally recommended to allow for approximately 4.5 metres of lateral sliding space.
If it is a cantilever sliding gate, you will need to allow for approximately 1.5 times the width of the door leaf in lateral space to allow the door to open.
